Chiroubles Lieu-Dit « Javernand »
This Chiroubles cuvée comes from a single plot situated in the « Javernand » area (lieu-dit). Shallow soils on granite bedrock bring the freshness typical of a Chiroubles wine.
« Javernand » is located on the heights of the village of Chiroubles at 430 meters altitude. Situated on a south-facing hillside, the parcel is composed of both young and old vines, of 10 and 80 years old.
The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged in demi-muids and barrels for 6 months. The grapes are cultivated by the Morin Family.
Chénas Lieu-Dit « Les Pérelles »
This Chénas cuvée comes from a single plot situated in the « Les Perelles » area (lieu-dit), with a fairly deep and ancient alluvial stoney soil.
« Les Perelles » is located in the north-east part of the Chénas appellation. The vineyard has been organically cultivated for many years. The vines face south-west and sit at an altitude of 220 meters, with an average age of 50 years.
Les raisins ont été vinifiés en cuve béton puis les vins ont été élevés en demi-muid durant 6 mois.
The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged in demi-muids for 6 moths. The grapes are grown by Le Château des Boccards.
Chénas Lieu-Dit « En Papolet »
This Chénas wine originates from a parcel of vines in the area (lieu-dit) called « En Papolet » at the east of the Chénas appellation, where the shallow sandy soils sit over granite bedrock.
The vineyard has been organically cultivated for many years. The vines have an average age of 40 years old, and sit at an altitude of 270 meters, facing east.
The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged in oak barrels for 7 months.
The grapes are grown by Domaine Obora.
Fleurie Lieu-Dit « Les Déduits »
This Fleurie cuvée comes from a singular parcel with fairly shallow soil over granite bedrock. The area (lieu-dit) « Les Déduits » is located at the east of the appellation.
The vines, organically cultivated and certified, are south-east facing at an attitude of 240 meters, averaging an age of 50 years.
The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged in demi-muids and barrels for 7 months.
The grapes are grown by Marc Delienne.
Saint-Amour Le Clos du Chapître
This wine comes from a singular parcel called « Le Clos du Chapitre », which sits on a plateau at the east of the Saint-Amour appellation, with a stoney terroir of ancient alluvium. The vineyard is certified organic. The vines have an average age of 50 years, and are situated at an altitude of 260 meters.
The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged in oak barrels for 7 months.
The grapes are grown by the les Frères Chardigny.
Beaujolais Villages Lantignié
This Beaujolais-Villages wine originates from a parcel in the commune of Lantignié. Organically cultivated the vines are in their third year of conversion on their way to be organically certified.
The parcel is composed of young vines planted on a sandy-loam soil. The vines are south-facing at an altitude of 370 meters.
The grapes were vinified in fibreglass tanks and the wine was aged in stainless-steel tanks for 6 months.
The grapes are grown by Anaïs Pertuizet.
Cap Ô Sud
This Vin de France red wine is a blend of Cinsault and Gamay grapes in partnership with Magali, from Domaine des deux Ânes, who provides the Cinsault.
The Gamay comes from Domaine Obora and their forty-year old vines from the Chénas Papolet parcel.
The two grape varieties are vinified together in alternating layers in the same tank. The fermentation took place using carbonic maceration without any oenological inputs. The wine was then aged in tanks for 6 months.
Cap sur le Blanc
This Vin de France white wine comes from a singular parcel situated in the commune of Leynes at the very north of Beaujolais. The young vines of Chardonnay are cultivated organically and sit on a clay-limestone soil.
The grapes were directly pressed slowly and gently without prior crushing. The press juice was then put into oak barrels and left to ferment with an ageing « sur lies » for 12 months, with zero added sulphites.
The grapes are grown by the les Frères Chardigny.
