Fleurie Lieu-Dit « Chapelle des Bois »

This cuvée comes from vines situated in the “Chapelle des Bois” area (lieu-dit) in the south of the Fleurie appellation. North-west facing, the vines sit at an altitude of between 250 - 300 meters. The sandy topsoil is shallow at the top of the hillside and becomes increasingly deeper towards the bottom, resting on granite bedrock.
The 1,8 hectares are planted with thirty-year old vines, producing 20hl/ha for the 2022 vintage.
The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged in 50% in demi-muids and 50% in stainless-steel tanks for 6 months.
This thirst-quenching wine can both be enjoyed immediately, as well as being aged for several years, if you have the patience…


Fleurie Clos de la Grand'Cour

The Clos de la Grand’Cour situated in the south of the Fleurie appellation, sits on a plateau at around 300m in altitude. The 6,4 hectare parcel, a monopoly of the Dutraive family, lies on fairly deep soils over granite bedrock.
This Fleurie cuvée comes from the younger vines of the parcel, with an average age of 45 years. These vines account for a little less than 5 hectares of the overall parcel, producing in 2022 a yield of 31hl/ha.
The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged 50% in oak barrels and 50% in oak foudres for 6 months.


Fleurie Vieilles Vignes - Le Clos

The Clos de la Grand’Cour situated in the south of the Fleurie appellation, sits on a plateau at around 300m in altitude. The 6,4 hectare parcel, a monopoly of the Dutraive family, lies on fairly deep soils over granite bedrock.
This Fleurie cuvée comes from the oldest vines of the parcel, with an average age of 80 years. These vines cover 1,5 hetares of the parcel, and achieved a yield of 18hl/ha in 2022.
The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged in oak barrels for 7 months.


Fleurie Lieu-Dit « Champ*gne »

This Fleurie cuvée comes from vines situated on our 1,5 hectares of «Champ*gne» terroir in the south of the Fleurie appellation. The parcel is composed of very old vines of between 70 - 80 years old. The vines are south-east facing and sit on a shallow sandy topsoil and a bedrock of weathered granite, reaching an altitude of 260 meters. The 2022 harvest yielded 20hl/ha.
The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged in oak barrels for 7 months.


Brouilly Vieilles Vignes

This Brouilly cuvée comes from a deep clay-limestone terroir at the east of the Brouilly appellation in the village of Charentay, from the area (lieu-dit) named« Vuril ».
With a surface of 1,7 hectares, the parcel is composed of old vines with an average age of over 60 years old. The vines are south-facing, reaching an altitude of 230 meters. 2022 saw a yield of 40hl/ha.
The grapes were vinified in concrete tanks and the wine was aged in 50% oak barrels and 50% stainless-steel tanks for 7 months.
